Mission
The committee will bring together individuals to address issues affecting the health of our children, recognizing that student wellness and proper nutrition are related to students' physical well-being, development, and readiness to learn. We are committed to providing a school environment that promotes student wellness, proper nutrition, nutrition education, and regular physical activity as part of the total learning experience. We will encourage a healthy school environment where students learn about and participate in positive dietary and lifestyle practices that can improve their achievement.
Meetings will be live-streamed and archived on the WSSD YouTube channel.
All meeting documents, including presentations, minutes, and supporting documents can be found on the WSSD BoardDocs.
