Talking to Children About Hate Crimes
In only a few short days, our country witnessed back-to-back hate crimes in Buffalo, NY and Irvine, CA. Because there is so much conversation about these events on the news, on social media, and in our community, the Office of Student Services wanted to share information about how to talk to children about hate crimes. WSSD Comprehensive Plan
The WSSD state-mandated Comprehensive Plan is available for review on the WSSD website in a digital format and at the Helen Kate Furness Public Library in a hard copy that may be read at the library. After a 28-day public inspection period, the WSSD School Board approval of the plan will be put to a vote. Comments on the plan during the 28-day inspection period can be sent to wssdcompplan@wssd.org -
