Announcements & Opportunities
The business office was made aware of concerns regarding orders from Washington surrounding the National School Lunch Program. While the news is alarming and may have generated some stress and uncertainty, WSSD is taking a proactive approach to educate our community and prepare for any changes that may arise.
This presentation focuses on ways parents and caregivers can support children with stress and excessive worry during the re-acclimation process. Participants will leave this presentation with strategies that they can utilize at home to help promote positive mental health and emotional growth.

New to special education and feeling overwhelmed by all the jargon? Or maybe you still have questions about your child’s IEP or 504 Plan? Join Wallingford-Swarthmore School District’s Office of Student Services for a 7-part virtual series with Dr. Ian Sandberg to get answers, guidance, and connect with other families.
Meetings will be live-streamed and archived on the WSSD YouTube channel.
PeachJar, our community digital flyer system, brings important information about events and programs directly to our families' email inboxes! Community organizations can share digital flyers to be considered for approval on PeachJar, and these flyers are shared with families and on our website, where they can easily sign up for programs and events.
Our partnership with Peachjar helps us to share resources, streamline school-to-home communication, and connect our community! By enabling our district to go paperless, Peachjar helps us save thousands of trees each year.
