• Exemptions to Immunization Law

Children who have a medical condition that would contraindicate certain immunizations may be exempted from immunization requirements.  We must receive a written statement from your physician documenting the need for exemption.

Parents/Guardians who have a religious objection or philosophical/strong moral conviction to immunizations may also indicate this on the certificate of immunization along with their written signature.

Students with exemptions may be excluded from school, at the direction of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, during an outbreak of a disease for which they are not immunized would occur.
