How to Update your School Messenger Account
WSSD utilizes School Messenger for both emergency alerts and routine eBlasts.
By default, whenever WSSD or your child’s school sends an alert, School Messenger will send the message to the Parent/Guardian phone and email contacts we have on file for you in the Student Information System (PowerSchool) that you list as Priority 1, Priority 2, and Priority 3. You can updated your contact priorities during the completion of the Re-Registration Process (the Digital Summer Mailing Packet) or by following the directions located here ...
NOTE: You can add additional contacts to your School Messenger account by following the directions below. You can add up to a total of 4 phone numbers, 4 text numbers, and 4 email addresses to your account by following the directions above.
Please see the chart below for the contacts that are automatically pulled into School Messenger daily.
