After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Music, I toured for a year across the United States and overseas to Asia performing in the musical production of Peter Pan. Upon my return to the states, I decided to pursue my second passion, working with children. While acquiring my Certification in Elementary Education, I taught preschool and trained middle and high school students in the areas of drama, music, and dance.
Before coming to SHHS, I worked with the Avon Grove Charter School in West Grove, PA from 2003-2009. At AGCS, I taught math and English to the gifted children in grades 2 and 3 for two year and then moved to the high school to teach ninth grade English and American Literature for seven years. In addition to teaching at AGCS, I staged five musicals from 2003-2008. From 2010-2012, I was the Special Education Director at AGCS.
