Happy October! The weather has more chill in the air, and it's perfect to be outside picking apples, playing in leaves, or roasting marshmallows to make s'mores! We wrapped up September nicely and October is sure to please. Be sure to check out the News This Week link to see some of the pictures of your children "hard at work and learning!"
During this month, students will be discovering adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers (with and without regrouping); becoming engineers during our STEAM (science/technology/engineering/art/math) lessons; learning more about space & the galaxies during International Space Week; focusing on having a growth mindset; doing a detailed book study using the story, "Stellaluna;" continuing with our Hispanic Heritage lessons & learnings; and much more! Remember, my News This Week link offers greater details each Sunday.
Don't forget to ask your children about what they've learned about a subject, a classmate, or other experience! I am looking forward to a great autumn season! Don't forget to check out the NEWS THIS WEEK LINK. Thanks for a great start to the new school year!
