    Scott Bonebrake, Attorney-at-law Scholarship: $1,000 scholarship awarded to one class of 2022 high school senior.  The applicant must:  Be a resident of Delaware County, Pa; be a graduating High School Senior; be accepted and planning to attend a college, university or a post-secondary educational institution; and have a current GPA of 3.0 or greater.     Applications Now Open for 2022 Gary R. Brown Environmental Scholarship   RT Environmental Services, Inc., in partnership with the PA Chamber Foundation, is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2022 Gary R. Brown Environmental Scholarship. The scholarship will be open to students from Pennsylvania and New Jersey pursuing a degree in the field of Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.  Contact PA Chamber Workforce Development Executive Allen Nortonanorton@pachamber.org, for more information and application forms. 

    United Steele Workers (USW) Hugh Carcella Scholarship Program will offer $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 per year for four years). The Scholarships will be available for use in an accredited college or university that the winner wishes to attend in the United States or Canada. An applicant must be the son or daughter or legal ward of a member of the United Steelworkers, District 10 (eastern) in good standing with the local union participating in the scholarship program.  Applications May be obtained, upon request, from participating local union. Applications must be post marked no later than Midnight, March 15, 2022.


    The PACAC Scholarships are for high school seniors graduating from PACAC member high schools. This scholarship is intended to support a student's goal of continuing their education.  The top recipient will receive the $1,500 Scholarship in memory of one of the PACAC founding fathers, Benjamin James.  The other recipients will receive a $1,000 Scholarship.  These are one-time, nonrenewable scholarships.

    Selection Criteria: Academic performance in a college prep curriculum, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, Financial need, Commitment to furthering their post-secondary education, PACAC Membership; at least one member of the student's secondary school counseling office, or community-based organization, must be a current PACAC member. Students who work with an Independent Educational Consultant who holds current PACAC membership may also apply.

    • Three short answer questions
    • Unofficial transcript (uploaded to the site)
    • Letter of Recommendation from School Counselor or Community-Based Organization Counselor

    *Please note that an official high school transcript will be required by those selected to receive a scholarship


    Thomas A. & Mary Jo Russo Scholarship

    Eligibility: High School Senior of Delaware County with demonstrated financial need, pursuing a degree in a Business-related field or vocational/trade program.

    Award: One $5,000 scholarship. Students may be eligible to renew their scholarship for up to three additional years, provided they continue in the same degree program.

    The Coolidge Scholarship  The Coolidge is a full ride presidential scholarship covering tuition, room, board, and expenses at any accredited four year American university. High school juniors who plan to enroll in college in the fall of 2023 are eligible to apply. Coolidge Scholars are selected primarily on academic excellence. Secondary criteria include an interest in public policy, an appreciation and understanding of the values President Coolidge championed, as well as humility and service.     Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation is committed to education of youth in our community. The John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarship application is now open for high school seniors! Details below:

    • One-time $3,000 scholarship for high school seniors who will be attending a full time course of study at an accredited two or four year college, university, trade, technical or business school
    • Five (5) students will be awarded this scholarship
    • Applications must be submitted online by January 15, 2022.

    The Cirkled In Scholarship is a $2500 scholarship grant for High School students (Grades 9 -12). This is a quarterly scholarship that is super easy to apply with no GPA requirements, no minimum income requirements, and no essays to write. This new scholarship will run October 1st  – December 31st  2021 with winner notification by February 15th 2022.     Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program Essay Contest 2021-2022

    U.S. residents who will be enrolled in an accredited U.S. institution of post-secondary education for the 2022-2023 academic year are eligible to apply for awards of $300 to $2,500. Applicants write an essay of not more than 550 words explaining their career, academic and/or vocational goals and how they plan to achieve those goals.
