• RETURNING DEVICES: Your Chromebook and charger (Hotspot if applicable) must be returned during one of the following drop off times.

    • June 4th- For students who do not need their Chromebook during finals. We will have a table set up outside of the auditorium after your senior class meeting.

    • June 9th- 11 AM- We will have a table set up outside of the auditorium for graduation rehearsal.

     

    If the Chromebook is lost or not returned, there will be a charge of $322.00. If the Chromebook is damaged,  you should notify the help desk (helpdesk@wssd.org) and it should be returned to the district.  We will work with Dell to get the device repaired at no cost to the family.  If the power adapter for either device is lost or damaged, there will be a charge of $36.00. Checks should be made out to Wallingford-Swarthmore School District and sent to the Technology Department.  Please let us know if you have any questions.


    TRANSFERRING FILES: You can transfer your files from your District Google Account to a personal Google account or download an archive to a Personal Computer or a USB Drive. If you would like to save any files you have until the end of the day, Sunday June 13th. Your district Google account will be deactivated on June 14, 2021. All files for the class of 2021 remaining on the WSSD Google Drive Server will be deleted as of June 14, 2021.

    To transfer to a personal Google Account:

    1. Login to your existing WSSD Google Account

    2. Go to https://takeout.google.com/transfer and follow necessary steps

    To  download an archive:

    1. Login to your existing WSSD Google Account.

    2. Visit Google Takeout and create an archive of your account data.

    3. Download the archive (which may be large depending on how much saved work you have stored).

    4. Your WSSD Google Docs can be saved to either your personal computer or a USB Drive.
