Please arrive about 10 minutes early for your appointment. Use the Providence Road entrance and enter the building through the doors on the left outside of the pool. There you will see a check-in table for our graduates.
Students and their guests should arrive at the Providence Road side entrance of the building, where parking will be reserved for graduates and their families. Based on the very small number of people who requested handicapped parking, we will not add additional handicapped spots. Two handicapped spots are available in this lot. If the Providence Road lot is full, you may park in the middle school lot and cross the bridge. Do not park in the fire lane, or you may be ticketed.
Students should arrive at the Brookhaven side of the school at 6:15 p.m. One vehicle per graduate, please!
To promote safety and avoid distracted driving, we strongly encourage each car to have a driver who is NOT the graduate! Graduates can sit on the passenger side of the vehicle so those who want to celebrate will be able to see them as they go by.
Students will be directed to line up in their cars and will be escorted through the community following a predetermined parade route, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Seniors without access to transportation but want to participate should contact firstname.lastname@example.org by May 27, 2020.
Students are encouraged to decorate their cars, wear their caps and gowns, and feel the love from the community.
A Sweet Ending to Graduation Day!
Seniors, head back to Strath Haven High School after the car parade to pick up a cupcake! Use the Brookhaven Rd. entrance and stop by the senior parking lot.
Please stay in your car at pickup. One cupcake per senior.
A huge thanks to the Senior Celebration Committee for organizing this sweet treat!
Light Up the Night
Light up the night on Friday, June 5th at 8:20 p.m. (20:20 military time). If timing goes as planned, this will be around the same time the graduates will be returning from their car parade.
This idea is simple - light up your neighborhood by turning on your porch lights and house lights, add strings of lights to your trees or in your yards, or use flashlights. Come out on your lawns and sidewalks, make some noise and cheers, and bring closure to this special day for our graduates!
