MEET OUR PRINCIPAL, DR. GABRIEL SAVAGE

Anyone who has met Dr. Savage knows that he is a down-to-earth person who loves children, education and learning. An innovative educational leader, Dr. Savage is passionately driven to create a high-achieving, data-informed, disciplined culture where students, families and staff know they are safe, valued and supported.

“I like to think of WES as a family school where everyone feels welcome, all opinions are heard and respected and we can use our individual strengths to come together for the common goal of providing top quality education and support for our children,” says Dr. Savage. 

Dr. Savage joined the WES family as Principal in 2018. Prior to WSSD, Dr. Savage spent 12 years with the Radnor Township School District where he served as Assistant Principal at Wayne Elementary School from 2015 to 2018 and Music Director from 2006 to 2015.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Savage earned his Doctor of Education (EdD) in K-12 educational leadership at Wilkes University. He also holds a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education from West Chester University, a Master of Science in Educational Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University, an Associate in Biblical Studies from the International School of Ministry and his School Principalship Administrative Certificate (K-12) from Eastern University. 

Outside of school, Dr. Savage is a devoted family man, loving husband and doting father to his three children.
