Many community members united for the common cause of promoting peace by participating in a Solidarity March in Swarthmore on Sunday, December 4, 2016. SRS children created signs and banners expressing their thoughts for a peaceful world. Their heartfelt words and passionate drawings stirred up memories and brought tears to the eyes of many participants. Seeing our children exercise their freedom of speech to shine a spotlight on the climate in our community and world demonstrated the power of their tiny voices. The warmth and love felt at the march penetrated the harsh impact of hate.
