Nether Providence Elementary School (NPE) Building Project Information April 23, 2012
March 12, 2012 Nether Providence Elementary Design Development At the March 12, 2012 school board meeting, Architect Kevin Godshall provided a timetable for development of the design for the NPE renovation project. The submission of plans to PDE is being accelerated in light of the state’s proposed moratorium on school construction reimbursement. The board will be asked to approve the Plan Con Part A submission to PDE on April 23. NPE faculty and home and school presentations are being scheduled for the week of April 16. November 18, 2011 NPE Architect Finalists At the November 14th school board meeting, the Schrader Group and Godshall Kane Architects presented updated designs, financial information, and energy utilization forecasts. Both architects were asked to work with known space requirements and a budget cap of $16.5 million. The school board plans to reach closure on an architect at its meeting of November 28.
