September 2, 2008 - First day of school for students in Grades 1 through 12
September 3, 2008 - First day of school for The Kids’ Place

The Kids’ Place: September 8, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
Nether Providence Elementary School: September 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
Swarthmore Rutledge School: .September 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
Wallingford Elementary School: September 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m
Strath Haven Middle School: September 15, 2008 for 6th Grade at 6:30 p.m.; September 17, 2008 for 7th & 8th Grade at 6:30 p.m.
Strath Haven High School: September 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

TAX NOTICE

On July 1, 2008, the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District mailed out the 2008-2009 School Real Estate and Per Capita Tax bills. Please contact our office at 610-892-3470 ext. 1306 if you have not received these bills. Residents are reminded that the deadline for accepting the discount amount for either bill is August 31, 2008. The closing date for accepting School Real Estate Tax and Per Capita payments is December 31, 2008. Please note it is the taxpayer’s responsibility to pay the respective taxes once the bills are mailed by the District. Non-receipt of bills does not qualify for waiver of discount or penalty
