You’ve got homework.  We’ve got help.  The Delaware County Library System, an agency of county government, now offers help by live tutors online at the library or from home via the Internet.  Live Homework Help is available for Kindergarten to 12th grade, college students, and adult learners, Sunday through Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  This program connects students to live tutors.  Students of all ages simply log on to the DCLS website, enter their library card number, grade level, and the subject with which they need help and, within a few minutes or less, they are connected to an expert tutor.  Students can receive help in math, science, social studies, or English.  If you’d like to learn more about the program, please call the library at 610-891-8622 or visit the web site at www.delcolibraries.org and click on the Live Homework Help icon.  Funding for this service is provided by Delaware County Council.

Are you struggling?  Do you need extra help?  If so, the National Honor Society is here to help.  NHS tutors will meet with you once a week for an hour.  Students in need of tutoring should fill out a request form (attached) and bring it to Room 302, their guidance counselor, or drop it in Mrs. Lawson’s mailbox in the attendance office.  They will be contacted within 48 hours by a tutor!  It’s that simple.
