• Read with your child at least once a week.
• Work on fluency by having your child read aloud to you.
• Check on understanding of what is read by asking your child questions about the section you did together.
• Review the weekly word of the week which can be found in the agenda book.
• Help your child come to school well rested and ready to learn.
• Talk to your child about reading and why it is important.
