For the past several years Crozer Health System and Premier Orthopedics have been working closely with Strath Haven High School to keep the kids participating in sports safely and injury free.

Crozer Human Motion Institute has been very generous with its resources, donations, and medical supplies to SHHS sports medicine program.

The Human Motion Institute is a unique program offering a comprehensive treatment continuum of care within a highly integrated health care delivery network. Our goal is simple: to return our patients to normal function as quickly and safely as possible. (Crozer-Keystone Health System's Human Motion Institute offers a full complement of services - Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, and Orthopedic Rehabilitation - to keep you moving!).   http://www.crozer.org/CKHS

Team physician, Dr. Eric Lake, DO, has also served as a sports medicine physician to SHHS for the past several years. Dr. Lake has donated his knowledge and services to the athletes of SHHS on the sidelines during football games and in the SHHS clinic. Dr. Lake has also done his best to fit injured athletes into his schedule when severely injured athletes have needed it. Please feel free to check out Dr. Lake’s medical page at www.premierortho.com/physicians.php

The team Orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Jim McGlynn, M.D. and Dr. Ray Wolfe, M.D., have served as our  team surgeons for the last several years.  Both Dr. McGlynn and Dr. Wolfe have been sideline physicians during football games, but more importantly they have donated time and knowledge to the safety and care of student athletes of SHHS.  They have agreed to continuing their services and their efforts to maintain the SHHS athletic program.  Please feel free to see their Bio’s at www.premierortho.com/physicians.php

Premier Orthopedics, through the connection with Dr. Cabry, has provided us with quick access to their elite group of surgeons and other physicians. They have also provided us with exclusive access to their urgent care for quick x-rays and the ability to see a physician for more urgent injuries the day they occur. Some of these services are insurance based, but they do their best to keep costs to a minimum for the SHHS community.

The Athletic Trainer/Physician Extender for SHHS is here to provide the student athletes with comprehensive care based on his abilities of practice. Some of the services  provided are emergency care of sports injuries, pre/post surgical rehabilitation of sports injuries, injury evaluation, and modality treatment (E-stem, ultrasound, laser treatment, compression ice therapy...) on an as needed basis. The ATC works very closely with the physicians of Premier Orthopedics and makes sure the team physician is aware of ALL serious injuries. If parents have any questions about these services, please contact Jason Luty at 610-310-7690.

Please review our links section and common injury page as well. Go Panthers!
