PLEASE JOIN US! "UNLOCKING THE DOOR TO FINANCIAL AID" Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Strath Haven High School Library. Representatives from area colleges and financial institutions will present important information about the financial aid process. The Society of Women Engineers at the University of Pennsylvania - 2nd Annual GEARS (Girls in Engineering and Related Sciences) Day. High school 10th and 11th grade girls are invited to particpate in a informative and fun filled day of acitivites, including hands-on engineering labs and discussions with professionals from the Philadelphia Society of Women Engineers. Students will learn about the Penn Engineering program. The event will take place on March 24 at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences from 9 am to 4 pm. Seniors! Do You Still Need to Apply to College? Penn State Brandywine will be holding their "Quick Decision Days" on Monday, January 16 and Monday, February 20 from 10 am to 6 pm on the Penn State Brandywine campus. Interested students must bring an official high school transcript and test scores, complete the PSU application on-line the Thursday before the program, or bring a completed application the day of the program. Applicants will receive an admissions decision within 48 hours of applying. For more information call 610-892-1200.
